1.0 Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions as stated below form a contract between The Buffet People LTD  t/a The Lunch People and the client. All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions.

2.0 Definitions

The Buffet People LTD  t/a The Lunch People means The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People, its proprietors and its employees.
‘The Client’ means any person, company or organisation for which The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People
undertakes any ‘Catering Services’.
‘Catering Services’ means all services provided to the client by The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People as set out in the booking confirmation.
‘Booking Confirmation’ means a documented agreement outlining the provision of catering services from The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People to the client, which is bound by these terms and conditions

3.0 Confirmation of Booking

3.1 Upon signature of the booking confirmation, the client and The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will be legally
bound in respect of the supply of catering services as laid out in the booking confirmation on
these terms and conditions.

3.2 Where the client confirms the booking via electronic mail this action will be accepted in place of a signed booking confirmation and the client and The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will be legally bound in
respect of the supply of catering services as laid out in the booking confirmation on these terms
and conditions.

4.0 The Lunch People’s Obligations

4.1 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will provide the catering services as set out in the booking confirmation
Held between The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People and the client.

4.2 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will pay all suppliers with whom it shall enter into contracts with respect to clause 4.1

4.3 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People has and will maintain sufficient public liability insurance and product
Liability insurance in each case not to exceed £10,000,000. A copy of the certificate (or scanned
PDF image) is available upon request.

4.4 The Buffet People LTDt/a The Lunch People has and will maintain sufficient employer’s liability insurance. A copy of the certificate (or scanned PDF image) is available upon request.

4.5 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People and its proprietors and employees follow all government guidelines and requirements with respect to food safety and hygiene as set out by the Food Standards Agency
and the local council. Its premises are regularly inspected by the Environmental Health Agency in order to ensure that The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People operates in line with all relevant regulations (as a
minimum standard).

4.6 The serving of food is made within the constraints as set out by the Food Standards Agency and any un-refrigerated food that is not consumed within the permitted service period or any food deemed unsafe to eat by The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will be disposed of and must not be consumed.

4.7 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People delivers food to the client and is not present for duration of service.

The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will provide an advice notice outlining the permitted non-refrigerated service periods to our clients. Once the food is delivered to the client’s premises, the food becomes the Sole responsibility of the client.

4.8 All items on The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People’s menus are subject to the availability of products and
ingredients. Where it is not possible to supply an agreed item, the client will be notified at the
earliest possible time where a replacement item will be offered.

4.9 All menu descriptions will be adhered to wherever possible, subject to the availability of
products and ingredients. In the event that a product or ingredient is not available a suitable alternative will be substituted where applicable.

4.10The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will make food deliveries free of charge up to a limit of 10 miles from our
kitchen at the Lansbury Business Estate, Lower Guildford Road, Woking, Knaphill, GU21 2EP.
Unless otherwise agreed, delivery charges will apply thereafter and will be stated in the booking
confirmation.

4.11 The Buffet People LTDt/a The Lunch People batches its deliveries by location in order to minimise its carbon footprint.
The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People reserves the right to deliver the client’s food order up to 2 hours before the
chosen delivery time.

4.12 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will endeavour to provide suitable adaptations to the client’s menu for any
guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. It cannot however provide suitable
alternatives unless advised at least 48 hours in advance of the order date. The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People
will provide a menu with each food order, which will detail the allergens present in each dish.

5.0 The Client’s Obligations

5.1 To ensure that all details on the booking confirmation are correct prior to confirming the booking,
including menu details, delivery address, delivery time and guest numbers. The Buffet People LTDt/a The Lunch People
cannot take responsibility for any incorrect deliveries that result from incorrect data on the
booking confirmation.

5.1 To grant to The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People the right to supply the catering services at the premises on the delivery date as laid out in the booking confirmation.

5.2 To effect and maintain all insurance including insurance for the premises except for those relating directly to the activities of The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People as set out in clauses 4.3 and 4.4.

5.3 To pay The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People the cost of any catering services provided in accordance with the booking confirmation as per the terms laid out in section 6.0 of this document.

5.7 To notify The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People of any changes to the number of attendees no later than 12pm on
the day before the order. Changes to numbers made after 12pm on the day before the order may
incur a discretionary £10 charge. Any cancellations received after this time period will be charged.
The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will endeavour to accommodate any increase in the number of attendees after
this time period, however this cannot be guaranteed.

5.8 To notify The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People of any dietary requirements no later than 48 hours prior to the
Order date.

5.9 To keep safe and return to The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People all equipment such as food platters, food platter
lids, china plates, cutlery or any other equipment supplied with the catering services. The client
agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment, crockery, cutlery or glassware supplied by
The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People.

6.0 Payment Terms

6.1 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will invoice after each order or on a weekly basis. The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People
reserves the right to charge a deposit for orders over £500.

6.2 The payment terms are 30 days from invoice date.

6.3 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People reserves the right to demand payment in full at any time after confirmation of the booking has been received.

6.4 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People preferred method of payment is BACS but cash , card or cheques are also
accepted.

6.5 We do not currently charge VAT.

7.0 Cancellations

7.1 Any cancellation by either party must be made in writing or sent via electronic mail. The Order will only be deemed to be cancelled once the client has received a cancellation acceptance from The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People. The cancellation acceptance will either be made in writing or sent via
electronic mail.

7.2 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People reserves the right to charge the client fees in the event that a cancellation is made following the confirmation of a booking in accordance with section 3.0 of this document. The following scale of charges will apply

7.2.1 If a cancellation request is received within 48 hours of the delivery date, the fee will be
100% of total order cost.

7.2.2 If a cancellation request is received before this time scale no charge will be applied.

7.3 In the event of a cancellation made by The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People due to circumstances beyond their control, The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People will, by notice in writing to the client, terminate the agreement and return to the client any payments made to The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People by the client, less any costs, expenses or liabilities howsoever incurred in respect of the proposed provision of the catering services.

8.0 Force Majeure

8.1 The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People shall not have any liability under or be deemed to be in breach of the
agreement for any delays or failures in performance of this agreement which result from circumstances beyond the reasonable its control. The Buffet People LTD t/a The Lunch People shall promptly notify the client in writing when such circumstances cause a delay or failure in performance.
